Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website or using our transportation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
Services Description
Skytop Transportation Inc. provides non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Wheelchair transportation
- Stretcher transportation
- Ambulatory transportation
- Hospital discharge transportation
- Dialysis transportation
- Doctor appointment transportation
Important: We are not an emergency medical service. For medical emergencies, please call 911.
Booking and Scheduling
Reservations
Transportation should be booked at least 24 hours in advance when possible. Same-day requests are accommodated based on availability.
Cancellations
Cancellations should be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in service restrictions.
Wait Time
Drivers will wait up to 15 minutes past the scheduled pickup time. Extended waiting may incur additional charges.
Passenger Responsibilities
Passengers using our services agree to:
- Provide accurate information about medical needs and mobility requirements
- Be ready at the scheduled pickup time
- Treat drivers and staff with respect
- Inform us of any changes to appointment times or cancellations
- Ensure a responsible adult is present when required
- Wear provided safety restraints during transport
Service Limitations
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service in the following situations:
- Passenger poses a safety risk to themselves, the driver, or others
- Medical condition requires emergency care
- Passenger is abusive or threatening to staff
- Location is inaccessible or unsafe
- Weather or road conditions make travel unsafe
Payment
Private Pay
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.
Insurance Billing
We accept Medicaid and certain Medicare Advantage plans for covered NEMT services. Coverage is subject to verification and plan guidelines. Patients are responsible for any non-covered charges.
Liability
Skytop Transportation Inc. maintains appropriate insurance coverage for our transportation services. We are not liable for:
- Delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control
- Medical conditions that arise during transport that are not related to our negligence
- Items lost or damaged in the vehicle (valuable items should not be left unattended)
- Missed appointments due to passenger unavailability
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Skytop Transportation Inc. and is protected by copyright law.
